Ministries

Adult discipleship classes meet on Sunday mornings at 9:50 a.m.  One class expounds on the scriptures with only the Bible as their text.  Two classes are going through the Acts Course from BILD International.

High school youth meet weekly through the school year and occasionally through the summer.  Normal group time takes place at the church on Wednesday evenings.  Socials, retreats, mission trips and conferences are often scheduled.  Our youth Pastor, Chuck, continually seeks to find ways to challenge and develop our teens.

Middle school youth meet weekly through the school year and occasionally through the summer.  Normal group time takes place at the church on Sunday evenings from 6-7:30.  Socials, retreats and special events are commonly scheduled. Along with other volunteer leaders, Pastor Chuck directs the Middle School youth program.

Sunday School classes, known as Kidz Kore, meet Sunday mornings at 9:50 a.m. for ages 3 through high school.

Kidz Klub includes grades K-5 who meet Sunday night in a three part program:  Bible lesson, scripture memory, and snack/craft are the three main elements to the evening.

Little Kidz Klub is similar to Kidz Klub, but designed for children 3 years to Pre-K.

Life Groups meet in addition to our Middle School and Kidz Klubs on Sunday night. Adults, who desire, have divided up into 14 home groups this year.  Each one, for the purpose of digging deeper into God’s Word through conversation of the morning sermon.  Two other key elements to this time is the fellowship designed to know & care for one another more, and prayer time. These groups are a place where we lift up to the Lord our praises and supplications.

Nursery care, known as Kidz Kare, is provided for most all-church activities for new-born through 3 yrs of age.

Women's Bible Studies are often available.  Currently, there is a group meeting on Tuesday mornings at 9:15 in the Cry/Conference Room.  All ladies are welcome to participate.

Wiggles & Giggles is geared for moms and tots (infants through Pre-K) from New Hope or the surrounding community.  Meeting Thursday mornings at 9:30 through the month of April, this time is for mom & child to read and interact.  Come to the Children's Wing.

Mercy Ministries is a designated New Hope team, whose purpose is to seek ways to intentionally reach out to others, either among our body or the community, serving as the hands and feet of Jesus.

Newcomer Night and Membership Classes are scheduled several times a year.
Newcomer’s night is a time for new attendees to get to know the DNA of our church and meet and interact with others new to our body, as well as some long-time attendees.  We welcome and encourage those who are still in the decision process of finding a church home.
A membership class is led by one of our pastors and is designed to share more about the Evangelical Free denomination and specifically New Hope.  This class is a required step toward membership at New Hope.

Teen Bible Quizzing is a new ministry for our high schoolers.  With almost weekly practices, this team is ready and eager to test their knowledge against the other two teams in the South Dakota area.

The Shepherd's Table is an outreach ministry, teamed with other churches of our community, to provide a free meal and take-home food one time a month.  We seek to get to know, share Christ on a personal level, and walk alongside those with special needs.
